Iam a 30 yo male from Chicago. In October of 2005 i was injured when i basically caught a heavy object. I suffered an injury to my left shoulder shoulders intensive treatment Shoulder arthroscopy Shoulder pain. An MRI Arthrogram was done which revealed a type 3 SLAP lesion. I had my initial surgery in December of 2005. I had 5 month of PTPost-traumatic stress disorder and was returned back to work. After a couple of week i began having a lot of pain and severe weaknessWeakness in my L arm. Another MRI Arthrogram was done which reveal a type 3 SLAP lesion and a Paralabral Cyst. A second surgery was done in september of 2006. The Surgeon said that the bio-absorbable anchors had desolved to fast. Again another 5 month of PTPost-traumatic stress disorder. While going thru PTPost-traumatic stress disorder i was suffering from extreme pain with alot of crepitus. Another MRI Arthrogram was done which reveales Severe biceps tendonopoth along with supraspinatus and subscapular tendonopoth. A cortisone shot was given to which only helped for about 2 weeks. The Surgeon sugested that i where to get a second opinion. which i did, that surgeon stated that it may possibly be a c-spine issue. So yet another MRI was done on my c-spine which revealed: mild degenerationMacular degeneration in C 3-4 and 4-5, also circumferential annular bulging and slight ventral ridging of the thecal sac of C 4-5. Broad based posterion central mild disk protrusion. Small HIZ in posterior annulus compatible with a small annular tear. No stenosis or neural impingement.
I am seeind a spine doc in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone can relate and/or did anyone have surgery on there c-spine. Anyone know if surgery is indicated
