Hi my name is Tarha i am from Adelaide, Australia. About 6mths ago I was diagnosed with chostochondritis, I found this out because I had really bad chest pain and a large lump on the right side of my chest at the sternum, it took 7 different doctors to diagnose this to start with. I have been sent to see a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, who said that he has never seen anything like this in his life and who said that he did not want to see me again because he did not know what to do for me until it had gone down and then he was prepared to cut out all of the over grown cartilage. I was then referred on to a rumatolagist who said he had also never seen anything like it either, he tried to say that it was developmental but this lump came up overnight and has just continued to grow and become more debilitating, they now want me to go and see a endocrinologist. the pain is still so intense and I feel like it continues to grow. it is so visible to the eye the amount that it sticks out but does not show up on any of the scans. although the u/sound shows that the ribs are now bowing under the pressure.
If anyone has heard of this before or can think of anyone else that I could see to help me please send me an email.Or if you would like more information. I am at the stage that I can hardly walk because I am in so much pain and no one can help me here in Australia and I can not take much more of this pain.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this for me. this is my last resort I am at wits end with doctors here in Australia.
If you get back to me I can give you what ever information you need to help me. I just need something done. please
Regards Tarha
