Has anyones screws come loose?

I had my collar bone broken in eight places. Doctor did surgery and placed a metal plate and (8) eight screws to keep the bones together. Four weeks after surgery I went to the doctors for a check-up and when x-rays were taken, the x-ray showed that the plate and screws lifted from the shoulder side of my collar bone. The doctor asked me if I was lifting anything or doing anything that would have caused this? I can't move my arm because of the pain and told him all I did was start to try and lift my arm up as he wanted me to.
Has anyone had this problem with the plate and screws lifting? Is this normal or the doctors fault?
Because of of this the doctor is giving me three weeks to see if the bone heals, and then if it heals, he will remove the plate and screws BUT if the collar bone does NOT heal he has to tighten the screws in my collar bone. I am totally confused and don't know if this is normal or the doctor screwed up.

Hi, I had my knees replaced in 2012. In 2019 bolt came out in right leg and lodged so I could straighten leg, needed a revision had it done. In July 2022 left leg started swelling bolt came out and floating around, had a revision in October 2022! Last Saturday woke up to go to the bathroom couldn't straighten leg couldn't walk very painful, the bolt came out AGAIN 6 months after it was done and the threads were stripped on the bolt and it broke into pieces. Had a revision last week got home yesterday 5/5/23. I think I have a good case! Something is amiss!

Hello there! I too have a broken Clavicle. I was in a nearly fatal car accident in December. My injuries were, a broken Clavicle (which was treated with a plate and 12 screws) A punctured lung and laserated liver. 11 broken ribs (6 of which were plated. With a total of 42 screws currently holding them together) And last, not least.... A broken pelvis. I am writing you hoping you still read this, desperate for your answers!! I do not recall doing anything... physically to disrupt the placement of the screws. I noticed the bump tho. It's new... It doesn't seem to matter which direction I shift my arm into, the screw still seems to be "Surfacing" for lack of a better term. Can you help me out with this question? I'm scared. I do not want to have surgery ever again in my life! What ended up happening with yours?
