I’ve spent the past 3 days trying my best to stay off it and rest, icing it a few times throughout the day. Since I had mostly been walking around my apartment only, the pain seemed to be subsiding, until today I went for a walk outside and before even reaching the corner of my street, the sharp pain was immediately back, again towards the side of my heel and foot now.
I had not done anything out of the ordinary that I can think of that would cause something like this out of the blue. I exercise and go to the gym regularly, so I can’t imagine it being from that. A friend suggested it could be heel spurs, but once the pain moved towards the side of my foot, I didn't really think that could still be the cause.
There’s no sign of swelling or bruising so I am not sure at all what this could be, or how to fix it.
Proper foot wear is very important. Ergonomics while walking, standing should be proper. Proper shoes while going to gym and exercise will decrease the pain in many cases. Take rest and some anti inflammatory drugs. If it does not decrease visit an Orthopaedician as it can be fascitis. Take care!
