Help

by Miss Missi, Aug 27, 2007 09:01PM
Last week I hit mt forearm on the bathroom door at full force.  There has been no bruising, lumps or bumbs at the site.  My arm hurts so bad that there are times I have tears in my eyes.  The N/P at the orthorpedic office said I had bruised the bone marrow in the two bones in my arm, causing them to swell.  They have me in an ace bandage, with rest and ice.  My question is, could my arm really be broke?  And if not, how long should I expect this pain?

It could have a hairline fracture.  Sometimes these fractures don't show up on the first X-ray.  You could have another one done to find out (I don't know how long you would need to wait to get it).
