Hematoma on ankle that won't go away

Alroght! So, I sprained my ankle playing basketball 7 months ago, it turned out I tore one ligament and the other two were partially thorn. Anyways I was on crutches for 1 and a half month. Was given clear bill of health by doctor after 2 months to start slowly walking fully, driving a bike, running etc. Aaanyways, now, 7 months later I still have hematoma(not too big) around my ankle that won't go away. I tried ice, creams.. Nothing. It didn't bother me until I started playing basketball again, now I feel uncomortable while playing, it doesn't hurt that bad, but it really is starting to annoy me. Advice?
*I dunno if you understood everything and if I have used the right terms since I mostly learned English from TV (good thing House MD is on often)
