Hip Labral Tear HELP

Has anyone out there had a labral tear again after surgery? So far I've had surgery twice on the same hip and I'm having suspicion it has tore again due to the increased pain I'm having? I'm kind of out of ideas and wondering if there's something else that can be other than surgery again to remove the torn cartilage.

Hello!

Depending on the severity of the pain and the stage of tear your orthopedic surgeon may prescribe injections and physical therapy after diagnosing your labral tear.  Usually combining both provides the best clinical results. To control the pain you can use anti inflammatory drugs.

Surgical operation remains to be the last reserve for treatment if there is no other choice. Surgical operation for hip labral tear (acetabular labral tear ) is called hip arthroscopy.
In most of the occasions there are no reasons for this tear. Discuss in detain wih your surgeon.

Take care!
