Hip Labrum tear

I am 65,, and finally was diagnosed with Hip Labru tear.. He said from my xrays 2 years ago, that I have no arthritis, and great bones,, and he was treating me for Bursisits,, I had an MRI, and I was there while he was looking at the images,, and he said,, I see nothing... I later was reading the report from the Radiologist,, and spotted, Hip Labrum Tear,, and tell him,, and he now tells me that the only way to get relief is Hip Surgery... Should he not have been able to see this on the images,, even if he did miss what the Radiologists report said?? I wonder if I can have this fixed by Lapro, and the the major hip surgery?

Hello!

You have to go for a hip labral surgery for early mobilisation if conservative treatment has failed.

The nice part about hip arthroscopy is that it is much less invasive than traditional hip surgery and you will have early rehab and accelerated recovery.

A radiologist is an expert to read an MRI report and always rely on a radiologist for comments on your scans and rely on an orthopedician for a clinical examination.

Take care!
