My topic was not listed because I do not have a question about hipHip joint replacement Hip pain replacement, only about my left hipHip joint replacement Hip pain. My hipHip joint replacement Hip pain began hurting when I was pregnant at age 40. It has given me pain on and off now for 9 years. It has gotten so bad that I walk with a limp now. I finally went to the doctor. He did an xray and said everything looks fine and called it bursitisBursitis Bursitis of the shoulder Retrocalcaneal bursitis Tennis elbow. He sid I have bursitisBursitis Bursitis of the shoulder Retrocalcaneal bursitis Tennis elbow in both hipsHip joint replacement Hip pain but my right hip never hurts. After a cotizone shot I was fine for two months. Then I went back because the pain was back and I limp again. He gave another shot and this one did nothing. I continue to be in pain, walk with a limp, and if I do the stretches it is much worse the next day. I can hardly walk. The past year I have had what I consider unrelated symptoms - my left hand shakes uncontrollably sometimes and when I type I have trouble controlling my little finger at all. And also at night I wake up to find I am drooling (which has never happened before this year). Someone suggested to me that I might have nerve damage. I have given up on the orthopedic doctor.
