Hip failure

Hip failure

I am a 45 year old with a major dilemma. Economic issues have run my industry into the ground. I lost all avenues of employment, and in the process, I have developed bilateral avascular necrosis (AVN). I am now a full time student, pursuing my PharmD (I had no option, but to seek another career path), and I take care of my dad, who has had the same malady, plus spinal issues (he gets treated at the VA - great folks, for the most part, despite what some say). We are doing all we can to survive, including relocating (away from my kids, which tears my heart out). But, in my present condition, I am unemployable, and without insurance. I had heard that the Mayo, and Cleveland Clinics have pro bono programs, as most not for profit outfits do. I am currently trying to get state assistance, due to the rapid rate of deterioration in my joints (a can no longer walk without help). But if I don't have to tax the system, and can get quality care (such as would be provided by Mayo or Cleveland) I would be all for it. Is it a viable alternative? If so, how do I go about doing it without wasting any time? Thanks for listening...
