Osteotomy of femoral neck

Having this done on 04/21/2011, has anyone had this?? Please let me know what to expect. The have me staying over night ugh
how long am I going to be on crutches

I have not had the surgery yet.  You really should have all these questions answered prior to the surgery.  Usual plan appears to be 2-3 weeks fully on crutches then gradual weight bearing weaning yourself to one crutch and then none.
Almost everyone Who I have known who has the surgery has had it as an outpatient.
