Hip trauma

Hip trauma

I had a skiing accident, 7 days ago, where I collided with a stump after falling. I was going very fast, and the fall caused me to hit the stump with my entire back on the right hand side. I had a very sore scapula, and hip, close to where it ties in with the spine. My shoulder has healed and is no longer sore, however the pelvis is still very sore to the touch,  and exhibits severe sharp pain in certain activities. Is it possible that I have fractured the pelvis, and if so, should I seek a regular doctor, or go directly to an Orthopedic specialist. Thanks in advance for your advice.

hello tfs,
it's always better to seek an orthopaedician's advice following a sporting accident as minor cracks, etc can be missed which may land you up in agony and bitterness.
