Hi there!

I assume you are referring to Pott’s disease of the spine. Aside anti-tubercular therapy, analgesics and physiotherapy; management would depend on the severity, spinal deformity, neurological deficits/ spinal cord compression, the site and extent of vertebral destruction etc. and may include surgical drainage of abscess, immobilization of the spine region by splintage, intramedullary hip screw/ rod to promote bone healing, hemiarthroplasty or spinal fusion etc. Management is case specific and you may like to discuss the possible options in detail with your orthopedician.
