I have expierenced "foot drop" almost 2 years after a Laminectomy ,I cant raise my toes or walk in heels, or hold on sandles with my right foot.  I am starting to fall when IT SEEMS I dont seem to ptck up my right foot enough and i GO FLYING They did an MRI the next day and said "one of the screws was outside the parameters" no-one has been able to define that diagnosis. Then I started expieriencing weakness in my right foot, as if I couldnt use my toes, it has gotten worse over the last few months with swelling in that foot up to the ankle. I dont know what to do as my insurance is in doubt since my husbands company took an insurance poloicy that the deductable went from 100$ a year to $7,500 a yr. WITH 4 DAYS NOTICE.  Then a few days later admited they were closing the company permanetly. He is 64 years old and was ready to retire we are in limbo now!
