I don't understand what this means

I have had 2 mris and the first one showed moderate to significsnt loss of disk height at L%-S1 with cocerning for annular tear also mild central disk prtrsion
@nd Mri saysL3-4 minimal bulge L4-L5 small bulge L5-S1 small bulge leading to mild neural foraminal with a more focal broad-based central protrusion I don't understand what this means. I have severe pain in my lower back with numbness and tinling down my left leg

You have started having pathological changes in your spine bones. The intervertebral disc is bulging and it would give rise to prolapse if it continues .

You have to maintain your weight, in proper BMI, wear proper shoes, proper position while sitting, sleeping, working. Exercise to increase the strength of your back muscles.
If you can avoid surgery by Physiotherapy then it would be good for you.

Visit an orthopaedician for examination and assessing your problem based on your MRI and follow up for treatment. Taek care!
