I have fractured My pinky little finger on RT hand

Hi, I was on holiday last Friday and I was in net saving some shots without wearing gloves and I felt my little finger really soar and couldn't straighten it and band it to palm of my hand, so went to first aid says could be sprained, but I said my symptoms and then he says could be fractured so went back and my parents who are first aiders and thy said could be fractured because my finger started to go black and blue, so went to health centre in Blackpool and they checked it and then I went to have a x-ray and went back up and the doctor said it is a possible Avulsion fracture so I went back to Blackburn to fracture clinic and he says you need appt but I thought the doctor in Blackpool sorted it out, but nope, so transfered me to Urgent care in the A&E dept and spoke to people and said we need to get the results from the x-ray couldn't afford to have another one so after 2 hrs she says you have a break, also the ligaments has the chipped my bone when the ball hit my finger and she says I will make appointment with fracture clinic so I have to wait until next week to have one, I want know how long will my finger will heal and back to normal so I can play sports, and after the appt with fracture clinic what will happen after it and I am wearing a splint do I need to go to physiotherapy or hand therapy and when does that start after fracture clinic or a few weeks later???

Thanks for any replies

I broke my pinky last year, dropped a metal box on it. My finger literally exploded and blew opened the end of the finger  and broke it. Had the finger stitched up and splinted. It was splinter for almost 8 wks. It was fine after that! No therapy or anything. Just no feeling where all the stitches were .
Good luck, you will be fine :-)
