IT ligament pain after knee replacement

IT ligament pain after knee replacement

Knee replacement Jan 11 2008.  Knee is doing great but continued pain along the IT ligament.  ?therapies, exercises.

Hello Dear
There are anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in the knee joint. I believe that this is what is meant when you mention “IT” ligament or do you mean medial or lateral cruciate ligaments?
Take pain killers like aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen for symptomatic pain relief.
Consult your physiotherapist for any exercises and massage.
An MRI/CT would get the picture more clear esp the post surgical improvement.
