Immense pain down lower back, reaching all the way down my left leg.

I'm a 15-year-old girl and for a few months now I have been dealing with immense pain starting from my lower back all the way down to my left leg. It feels like a million pinpricks hitting the inside of my leg at the same time and I've honestly gotten sick and tired of this constant pain everyday. It's reached the point where I can no longer walk straight and can't sleep at night due to the pain. I have PE, which I am failing because I can't finish the weekly runs, and my doctor is no help at all. She's been misdiagnosing me multiple times so I've started to disregard her. I'm not the type of girl to complain about pains but this has gotten to the point where I just can't take it and it's interfering with my grades at school. The lack of sleep has been effecting me and I'm hoping that some of you can help me with this problem. I'm guessing it's a pinched nerve? If it is, how can I fix it? Even a little relief of the pain is good enough for me

Well, without a detailed description, a physical examination and probably a few tests it would be difficult to determine the cause of your pain. Possibilities include postural problem, spinal issues, nerve impingement, muscular, bone or joint problems, vascular issues etc. Without a diagnosis at hand, it would be difficult to suggest relieving measures as well. If your doctor has not been helpful, you may consider seeking a second opinion from another doctor for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
