Index finger issue

Hi there
I have had an issue with my index finger for quite a while now.
Basically it's really loose  I can raise the finger up above the knuckle, and it looks the knuckle is split.
My finger also gets stiff sometimes, I wondered if you guys had any ideas on what it could be?

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include fractures, dislocations, injuries to ligaments/ tendons, connective tissue disorders etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
