Is Massage therapy still an option?

Is Massage therapy still an option?

I am going to try to make this as short as possible. I am 36/f, recently had x-ray done on spine. The findings are as follows: Thoracic Spine: " There is a slight leftward curvature of the upper thoracic spine. Scattered Schmorl's Nodes are noted, no compression fracture identified. The visualized pedicles and rib articulations appear grossly normal."
Cervical Spine: "There is straightening of the normal cervical lordosis. Mild disc space narrowing is noted at C5-6 and C6-7. Prevertebral soft tissues are within normal limits. Oblique views demonstrate minimal foraminal narowing on the left at C4-5 and C5-6 as well as bilaterally at C6-7. There is also right sided foraminal narrowing at C3-4. Ok and the last report is Lumbosacral Spine: Scattered Scmorl's Nodes are noted. No gross fracture identified. There is mile disc space narrowing at L5-S1 level. The SI joints and upper sacrum appear grossl normal. Olbiqu vies demonstrate no spondylolysis. The pars interarticularis at L5 are suboptimally visualized.
Ok, with all that being said, Is it safe to say that I have Degenerative Disc Disease? What treatment options are available? Can I still use Massage Therapy or will that cause too much pressure on the Schmorl's nodes?
Thanks in advance for any help that I get.

Hello!

Massage therapy produces the best results when combined with other medical treatments such as physical therapy, chiropractic, or physician care.

Discuss with your orthopedician and consider massage therapy. Also consider acupuncture. Proper diagnosis is always important before you go for massage therapy.

Take care!
