Is my hip collapsing or dislocated?

Is my hip dislocated? I have pain on my hip/leg joint  and outer part of foot. My hip aches and wiggles when I walk; feels like is detached and it looks lower than the other. I've been having hip discomfort for over two years and had a few test but not diagnosis; I have almost no Insurance so it makes it hard to find answers! Has anybody experienced anything similar or has a clue? Any info will be appreciated... I have a doctors Appt soon so I'll ask for a referral for the Orthopedic Doctor. So wish me luck!

Hi Naryberry, thank you so much for your comment it was really helpful. I have gone to doctor and going for an MRI tomorrow I hope something shows up on this pic. As far as me falling; I did fall years ago but don't remember bad pain on hip, just my painful swollen hand and arm but some time later I heard a snap on my front side when getting up from laying on the lawn then the pain and weirdness of hip/leg started!. If it's dislocated, can it be fixed? Do you think it will show on an MRI? Rather than an Xray? My Next step is referral to Orthopaedic Dr. I hope soon. But tell me, did your hip get better? How? I really appreciate your input, thanks again. Celtika.

Hey, looks like it may be dislocated but I am not a doctor. I walked around on my dislocated hip for about a 1 and half before I saw a doctor. Did you fall at any point thinking back to the time you first noticed the pain? Any information you can think of will aid in your doctors appointment. I would demand an m.r.i and don't let them send you home with just pain meds. It sounds more serious than what the docs have been telling you. Ortho will sort it out though.
