Joint Pain In Legs

by cholny29, Nov 21, 2006 12:00AM
i am a female in my early twenties, healthy, from most standpoints.  When I was around 5 or so I jumped or fell off a porch about 6 ft high. cant really remember how I landed but parents took me to hospital and got xrays and nothing was broken or fractured.
I have had joint pain off and on in both legs, knees, and ankles maybe once a month since I was five.  nothing a couple of tylenol couldn't cure though.
Recently I have been prescribed 50 mg zoloft and I have noticed a big increase in my joint pain in legs like now i have it like at least 3 times a week and tylenol is not taking the pain away like it use to?
could zoloft increase joint pain? i searched around on the net and couldn't find anything really? and opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

it could be possible side-effects form the medication. Have you consulted your doctor about this? If not, please do. Otherwise, are you having any other pain anywhere else in your body?

Thank you for your reply. I have not consulted my doc I meet with him tomorrow in which I plan to discuss with him this issue. Will keep you posted. Thanks!
