Knee and hip pain

I have fibromyalgia, I am 64 years old and so when I ask my question I have several things against me from the start; everything is always blamed on my FM!  For several months I have had painful knees, it isn't under the kneecap but around the front and in back of my leg/knee.  Kneeling hurts a lot but the worst is at night when my knee hurts so bad that it wakes me up. Laying seems to hurt the knee, sitting too. I can't straighten my leg or move it without a great deal of pain; I'm use to pain with FM but this is very severe pain!  I can't afford to go to the doctor so am looking for some answers.  My hips hurt too but not like the knee's (right is worse than left).  What are some of the knee problems that I could have?  I am 5'6",
152 lbs  I walk almost everyday.  I do sit a lot when I am working (I own my own business so I do work on the computer)  I am on a lot of meds, I can't relate the meds to this pain because I've had the pain a long time....it is much worse now.  It feels like bones maybe veins (not sure at all).  Any help you can be will be greatly appreciated.
