Knee and thigh pain - not from being active

Knee and thigh pain - not from being active

I am a 24 year old male. For about a week now I have been having a deep/dull ache/burning sensation in my right thigh. The pain comes and goes, but is not very severe. It seems to be above my right knee, located on the outer thigh. When I try to massage it out I do not feel any pain, and it therefore does not present as a sore muscle. Additionally, there also seems to be pain on the elft side of my thigh above the knee, and am not sure if it is referred pain or primary pain. I am in an office 9 hours a day, and have not had a chance to get back into an exercise routine yet, but am in good shape and not overweight. Was wondering if anyone knows what this may be. Thanks!

Wear proper footwear and follow proper ergonomics. The position while working and the type of chair you use are very important. Also ergonomics while driving and while sleeping are equally important.
Start some daily exercises slowly and with time do some regular cardio and eat healthy balanced diet and with time if your pain does not subside you have to visit an orthopaedician. Take care!
