Hello! I'm almost 15 years old and I've got knock knees. It isn't a big deformation- when my knees are touching, my ankles are about 4 cm apart. I would like to do something with it because it bothers me while doing exercises, walking etc. I don't want a surgery becuase I know I don't have a big problem. Would exercices help me? I just want to correct about 1 or 2 cm. Maybe some night braces? Please help me!
Exercises and conservative management is unlikely to help with knock knees at the age of 15 years. The only definite solution is a surgery, which is again best avoided if the deformity if mild. You may consider an evaluation by an orthopedician for suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
Hope this is helpful.
