Left leg - left hand Pain

Left leg - left hand Pain

Hi,
I was tested positive for ASLO (rhematic fever) 8yrs ago and put on shots for 2 yrs. During this period, my left leg would start paining from the joints esp. the ankle, including coldness, numpness and serious pains causing me to limp. After the 2yrs of treatment, I have been tested negative even though I have same symptoms come up once very 2 months. Recently, I have had the same symptoms for about 2 weeks now, but then, it involved my left hand going up to the left side of my neck.
I do not understand what is wrong with me, since the doctors have said they see nothing lately.
Please help.
Thanks.

Hi, this could be either due to residual infection (autoimmunity causing joint problems) or beginning of rheumatoid arthritis. Usually, shots are given for 5 years. Please get yourself investigated. Blood ESR, RF, ANA etc are usually done to rule out rhematoid arthritis.
