hi there, thank you for reading my question, iam sugenthy from malaysia, my mom who is 55yrs old diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 3 yrs ago met with car accident recently on July 12th 2008 and has left calcaneal, left inferior and superior pubic rami #, which was told as stable by the Orthopaedics Team who attended her in the initial stage...organ and vessels injuries was ruled out...she is on bed rest for past 4weeks....able to flex both her legs slowly while lying down...since she has calcaneal # she was told to non weight bear for 6/52, then followed partial weight bear for 2/52 by Ortho Team and discharged from Ortho...my question is....can she start ambulating in wheel chair now? or will that affect her pubic rami # ? in long term will she be able to walk normally? and how long will it take approximately for her to get back to normal lfiestyle....my mom has been hemodynamically stable so far...thank you
