Does anyone have leg weakness after sitting for awhile. When getting up to stand after sitting, I cant stand straight on my legs. They stay bent for a few minutes till I can straighten up. I do have some disk degneration in lumbar spine, chronic back pain that I dont do anything for, but not being able to stand erect after sitting is something new. I have to lean on something a few minutes to get me started. Thanks.
You have to check the reason of stiffness and this can be due to pathology in your bones of spine, hip or knee joints. Check if you have any arthritis which is the primary reason for stiffness and pain.
You would need to go for present day X-ray scans of your lower lumbar spine and all other joints wherever you are experiencing stiffness to come to a proper diagnosis.
