Lisfranc Fracture Aftermath

Lisfranc Fracture Aftermath

I was in a car accident just over 3 years ago and ended up with a 3mm lisfranc fracture in the 1st and 2nd metatarsols and everything with the surgery and recovery went perfectly fine. However I am starting to notice a funny feeling in the area that was fractured just recently. It feels like some sort of friction, like tendons or bone is almost grinding together (it almost feels like it would if you were to step on a loose wooden floor board, that almost creaking feeling) every time I flex my toes back and forth or step on it. I'm unsure if I should seek medical advice immediately or how long I should wait it out and just see if the feeling stops.

I am aware that these types of injuries are prone to arthritis and scar tissue but could there be any other explaination?
