Looking for hand/wrist specialist

I'm a 27 year old otherwise healthy male. I've been struggling with a medical problem for the past 3 years and I'm looking for help.

In 2008, I had a very bad fall forward onto a tile floor, and landed on both of my wrists.  My hands were being extended upwards when I impacted, which caused an immediate and recognizable shift in the wrists' carpal bones.  My hands literally looked foreign to how they had looked for the previous 24 years before the fall.  There were shifts and bony protrusions(identical in both hands) between 2nd and 3rd metacarpals, and the thumbs appeared longer.  The knuckles didn't form the same lines anymore.  The bones felt out of place and jammed together, and I had pain at the joint of each thumb metacarpal.

The next day there was swelling and bruising present at the impact sites, and both thumb joints were sore.  My hands were stiff, and I had weird tingling sensations in both forearms.  I went to an orthopedic surgeon after a week and told him what had happened.  He took Xrays and said no bones were broken, maybe stretched ligaments, and completely disregarded that I told him the bones had undeniably shifted immediately upon impact.  He said he could give me pain meds or cortisone shots for the discomfort, which I refused.  Ever since this fall, aside from the pain I have, strange things have happened.  Most notably the wrists joints have become weaker.  The ligaments surrounding the carpal bones have become loose.  I can tell this by the popping, grinding, and shifting of carpal bones present when moving my hands.  My forearm and hand muscles have become weaker and fatigued, and they go to sleep and tingle on occasion.

I absolutely know the bones are shifted out of place in my wrists, and that is causing these soft tissue changes.  This is driving me nuts.  The orthopedic surgeon I went to didn't put any thought into what I was saying.  He didn't see me in huge duress I guess so he sent me on my way.  Understandable to an extent.  However, this significantly effects every aspect of my life and those around me.   My ability to function at work is drastically reduced.

There isn't a case of mental illness in my family, and I am an otherwise fit person. What do I do?  I can't manipulate the bones back into place on my own, and I don't have the financial means to disperse another 1000 dollars to see another surgeon with the risk of having another similar "diagnosis".

I forgot that once you find some through the site then you can see what other patients are saying about the doctor on vitals:
http://www.vitals.com/
It is free you just have to agree to their conditions.
