Lower Back pain

Lower Back pain

I had an MRI done on my lower back and it came back that I have mild degenerative disc bulging at L4-5 with left posterolateral disc bulging prominence and annular mkargin tear.  Can you explain this to me in words that I can understand? And what should I expect?

Hello!

You are starting to have a lumbar disc prolapse.

You can have various symptoms of pain locally and also in your lower limbs due to this.

The most common cause is injuries, accidents, fall or due to adopting false ergonomics in your daily living.

You should follow proper ergonomics in your daily living. Adopt proper positions during your day to day activities, sleeping, sitting and working. Also wear appropriate proper shoes.

I would suggest you to follow up with an orthopedician if you have any symptoms.

Take care!
