MCL Sprain and possible Meniscus Tear?

Hello
I am 19 years old and active in sports. A couple days ago I was playing soccer and my knee gave out and I heard a "pop". This happened when I tried to cut left, but my cleats caught in the turf and I also got hit during the process. I went down right away and felt pain in my left knee. Both sides of my knee were a little bit swollen, and I could not bend my knee all the way back. In addition, if I put pressure on the sides of my knee, it hurts and this was after swelling went down. I was able to bear my full weight on my injuried leg without pain at all. I have since then put on a brace to limit my knee movement with icing and elevation.
But since I am without insurance(I know, its bad), I was not able to see a doctor or get a MRI.

What is the best possible course of action? Is it a MCL tear with meniscus damage?

Thanks

You have to go for an MRI to diagnose your problem perfectly. Visit an orthopaedician for examination of your knee joint and the movements you have lost and based on the symptoms discuss the future course of action.
When you get the insurance thing clear go for an MRI and treatment.
Continue the brace, ice packing and anti inflammatory drugs. If you did not have any major problem your pain and symptoms will decrease.

Thanks for the advice. I should have insurance within the coming month.
