MRI LEFT KNEE

I was diagnosed with tricompartmental changes of osteoarthritis, most pronounced in the medial tibiofemoral and patellofemoral compartments of the left knee.  Complex tearing of the medial meniscus.  Will I eventually need an artificial knee or is this something I have to live with.  Thanks, ***@****

Hi there!

Well, this would depend on the severity of the condition, though these are likely to degrade with time and a knee replacement might be required at some point in the future. It would be best to discuss the prognosis and the management plan in detail with your treating orthopedician.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
