MRI and Nerve conduction

I was recently hit in the head at work. My neck was extremely stiff for over a month and have had weakness and tingling in my right arm. I had an MRI done on my cervical spine.  The orthopedist prescribed me a steroid pack and my neck pain has somewhat improved but my arm has not had any improvment and at times seems to be worse.  I am very confused about my MRI. Can someone help me with the findings?
C2-C3: normal
C3-C4: normal
C4-C5: DISK DESICCATION W/OUT NARROWING IS SEEN. A 1-2 MM CENTRAL DISK BULGE IS NOTED. THE BULGING DISK ABUTS BUT DOES NOT COMPRESS THE VENTRAL ASPECT OF THE CERVICAL SPINE AT THIS SITE
C5-C6: DISK DESICCATION W/OUT NARROWING IS SEEN. NO DISK BULGES OR PROTRUSIONS ARE IDENTIFIED.
C6-C7: (SAME AS C4-C5)
C7-T1 NORMAL
Can you help me make sense of this. could any of these be pre-existing or is this pain from my injury. Im dealing with workers comp doctors and I am truly concerned about whos bests interests they have in mind....my employer or me. I just had the nerve conduction test and the doctor told me he didnt see any problems with my nerves. Now I am completly thrown off. I cant even hold a can of soda in my right arm with out experiencing pain. It has almost been 2 months since my injury so what could effect my arm so badly other than nerve damage.
