MRI of Lumbar spine

Three months back i had fallen on office steps while getting down, the pain was only for 4 days after that i have continued going to office, after a month or so i got a severe back pain and x ray was done and identified with loss of lumbar lordasys. but my DR said that pain may be due to slip disc and given rest for 6 weeks but the was not completely reduced the Dr then advised MRI . the following are the results of my MRI

Minimal degenerative changes in Lumbar spine with mild Disc protrusion at -L5 level with bilateral neural compromise more so on left side with small anular tear.

Mild Disc Bulges at LI L2 & L5-S1 levels with left neural compromise at L5-S1 level.

my Dr advised another 10 days bed rest with medicines. what may be my problem.
