Moveable lump

Ok so at basketball about 2 weeks ago my hip kept like moving or something and I would have to push my hip forward and move my body back and i could hear it like move back kinda like a grind or just a pop back in place but now I got a moveable lump around the area and I do have cysts in my body I told my doctor about and he said they were cysts and not to worry about them so is this kinda the same and should I not worry about this?

Could it be a hernia do you think? And it's probably not cancer then right?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

It can be a sprained muscle after the basketball practice you had. Apply ice packs and rest and do not exert for couple of weeks.

If your symptoms continue then get yourself examined and distinguish the lump from cysts and if required also go for some scans for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Follow up with an orthopedician.

Take care!
