After removal of cast there is some amount of inflammation due to active movements. You have to understand that she would have stiffness as her hand was in cast all the time for 5-6 weeks. If the healing was good there is nothing to worry.
Give her some anti inflammatory drugs and also use some ice packs to decrease the inflammation.
If this does not help then take her for an examination to the physician who treated her, orthopedician is preferred.
