Neck Problems/Headaches

II had a MRI Friday and my results were given to me by my doctors nurse e today. She said I had straightening of the normal lordotic curvature of the cervical spine. Disc bulging of C5-6 C6-7. I really dont know what to think at this point. Can someone explain it to me and why i have headaches all the time.

Thanks

Hi there!

Straightening of the spine could occur from a few causes like issues with surrounding muscles/ ligaments, inflammation etc. Disc bulge refers to initial stage of intra-vertebral disc prolapse. These changes may or may not be the cause of your headaches. It would be best to discuss the situation in detail with your treating doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
