Need Help !! Cancer spread???

HI - I am new to this board - don't know if this is the right board i am posting to. Well to make a LONG story short:
I was dx with breast cancer in 9/07 - had surgery in both breast ( 3 in 1yr) - radiation on right breast only - several infections and MRIs and then Tamoxifen which I stopped due to bone & muscle pain in Jan 2008. In Feb 2009 just dx with Fibro and am currently on Fibro, breast cancer and Pain Management board.

But now was currently having right side rib pain - really bad. I waited a couple of weeks because I thought the pain was do to the fibro. On pain meds and muscle relax and the pain would not go away. Told my pain management doc about the pain but do to the bc history she sent me to get an xray on both sides of ribs. I xray from last week  came up with this and maybe someone here can help me :

A nonspecific asymmetric sclerosis of right posterolateral 8th rib mostly involving the cortex
Minimal wedge-shaped deformity of some of the thoracic vertebral bodies
Given the history, correlation with nuclear medicine bone scan is recommended

I am going for the bone scan on Wed 4/29 - has anyone here had a bone scan??

What does this mean??? I wrote this off the report - can somebody here help me??

Just praying really hard that it's not bone cancer now - if you can help, i would really appreciate it.

God Bless, Sunshine

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Your doctor suspects that the cancer which you had previously had spread to your ribs.
She cannot confirm this unless you had a bone scan, so you are advised to go ahead for this.

There is a possibility of spread of cancer to adjacent organs and also to far off organs over a period of time and this is called Metastasis.
Wait for your report and take care!
