Non-union of broken humerus

I broke my arm in January 2008. I just had a sling as treatment.  Due to non union I have had an bone graft ignite injection mixed with my bone marrow 2 weeks ago (week 26) to treat the non union.  I have been wearing a brace from elbow to shoulder since 18th June and continue to do so. I have some pain and stiffness at the break site in the last couple of days, is this normal? Can I take any supplements to help speed up recovery? How long should recovery take?

I can understand your problem well. Your is a case of delayed healing. Take some calcium supplements as oral tablets. If you are a non vegetarian consume of non veg including eggs. This would accelerate the healing process.
Take ibuprofen under medical supervision for the associated pain.
