Not healing stress fracture
I developed  a stress fracture in my left foot this past January and has not healed fully yet. Is there anything I can do that would help it heal?

Hello Dear,
The best treatment for a stress fracture is rest. Taking a break from  the routine and doing some low impact exercise for a six  to eight weeks can help the bone heal. If rest isn't taken, chronic problems such as larger, and more persistent stress fractures can develop. Re-injury may result in a chronic foot problem and the stress fracture might not heal properly. You should consult your orthopedic physician and look into the causes which might lead to nonunion.
