my mri says straightened lordosis,l4-5 moderate disk degeneration,prominent degen/reactive endplate marrow signal changes. mild endplate spurring w/ mild bulging annulus and thecal sac impingement. facet arthrosis,mild central canal narrowing and mild encroachment of the neural foramina. High signal focus posterior annular margin compatible w/ an annular tear. And also noted an enlarged right extrarenal pelvis. What does this all mean?

You would need lifestyle changes initially; you should also follow proper ergonomics. I would suggest you to take pain killers intermittently. You can go for alternate hot fomentation and cold compress to give you relief.

If surgery is an option then your orthopedic surgeon who is specialized in spine surgeries or the neurosurgeon will explain it to you.
