Osteoporosis and Pregnant???

Hi im 29 and was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in the spine when i was 27, also have the mild form in my hips as well. Well i've just found out (after going through fertillity treatments) that i am 4 weeks pregnant.
Im starting to worry about how my back will cope with carring a child, I've had a painfull back since way before the diagnosis, constently need regular physio to reduce the knots in my lower back/pelvis area.
As im in early pregnancy so have a back ache on top of the pains im normally in.

Any ideas how to A reduce the pains and B how to manages the next 8 months

Oh and on top of that a very VERY high risk i could be carring twins (find out on the 20th),

Thanks. A worryed Jess.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I can understand your concern for osteoporosis in pregnancy. You  should undergo preventive measures, including adequate calcium intake, vitamin D intake, and exercise. Consult your gynecologist and keep your calcium intake adequate. Take calcium rich foods and calcium supplements. Milk and dairy based products are excellent sources of calcium and should be adequately taken.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
