Osteoporosis

by jodie1949, Mar 07, 2009 03:28PM
I have been taking Fosamax for about a year. I also take Piroxicam for bursitis. I have started to hurt badly in my knees, lower legs, hips and now my neck. I told my primary care physician and he put me back on Celebrex which I had taken before Piroxicam (Feldene). The pain is  only getting worse. I have found information that states "known negative drug interactions with Fosamax and Piroxicam. Is the pain a result of this and is there a better treatment for osteoporosis without these side effects ?
Thanks for your time.
Jo
