Pain after DDD surgery

by syhite, Jun 14, 2009 09:13AM
I have DDD and had fusion done for L3, L4, S5 , on Jan. 07-2009 and still in a lot of pain, my surgeon said there is nothing else he can do. Is this true or is there some time of injection that can be done to help deaden the pain?
Thanks,
Sheila

If in pain , you insist your surgeon to prescribe pain killers and also diclofenac patch. Pain will decrease slowly over a period of time while doing physiotherapy. Ask if you can have hot fomentation on you back? which will give you relief. Take care and always follow your surgeon's instructions.
