My daughter had an op in Dec 2007 for tarsal coalition in both feet, after enduring 13months of chronic pain.
However, the pain has now returned in both feet, as bad as before her operation! She has tried all forms of pain relief, with no success, even been prescribed MorphineMorphine Morphine sulfate Morphine sulfate sr!
I now wonder if the coalition has returned, and if so, what is the next step. I've heard about an op called arthrodesis? What does this entail.
She is 13years old, and is unable to walk far, let alone anything else! Its very worrying!
Sorry to know it
My opinion is that this pain is not due to returned tarsal coalition bur soft tissue inflammation around tarsal bones, this inflammation can leadLead poisoning to same pain as tarsal coalition pain.
Deep and intensive needle can help this condition if you find a experienced practitioner.
She would be better, don't too worry, take time.
