Pain after double calcaneal osteotomy and gastrocnemius recession

I had double calcaneal osteotomy performed on both feet as well as gastrocnemius recession on both.  My right foot had a nonunion of a bone graft anterior and so they took bone from my hip and put it in.  The last surgery I had was due to the nonunion and it was performed in Nov. of '06 on my right foot, the surgery on my left foot was performed in Nov. of '05.  I still have pain when I don't have my feet propped up.  I can't stand or walk for more than a few minutes.  There is also swelling and bruising of both feet, but the right one is worse.  I was just wondering if it was ever gonna get any better, and should I mention it to my doctor?
