Pain in back, Ribs feel depressed?

I've been having some major pain in my back. Its prevented me from sleeping, shopping, and doing what I gotta do.

My left side ribs feel depressed in the back, one or two of the lower ones, and it seems that they are slightly underneath the ones located above them, in the front. I have a flared ribcage on that side and they all usually flare out together, but it doesnt look like they are now. I would provide a picture but I don't think thats allowed.

Its very uncomfortable, and causes a stabbing pain sometimes if I'm not careful with movement. Some days its better, other days its worse and it hurts to move.

I also have a hardness underneath my center ribs, above my navel. Could this be caused from my ribs being depressed?
