Pain in both wrists

Hello I am a 18 year old male 175 pounds 6 feet tall. For the past three days I have had pain in my wrists that started out mild but now has become very painful. My wrists do not hurt so much at rest, but if they are touched, squeezed, or if I hit something on them they hurt (mainly on the upper side with palms down). There has not been any fall or anything that has caused this. I am in the gym about 4 days a week and have been lifting for about a year and a half and this has never happened to me before. Lately the only thing i have been doing more of lately is running. The worst pain is when i wake up in the morning and my wrists are quite swollen. I spend quite abit of time on the computer but I have always done this and I have never experienced this. I am currently taking a daily vitamin, a calcium supplement, creatine, and mynocycline antiobiotic for acne.

Please help, any information regarding my problem is helpful

Hi, please get yourself investigated for rheumatoid arthritis. Blood tests like RF, ESR and ANA will be helpful in diagnosis. Early morning stiffness is characterstic of rheumatoid arthritis. Try topical anti inflammatory gels along with hot compression.

Do you have family history rheumatoid or other autoimmune disease?
