Pain in the upper left arm

MRI report of cervical spine reads-

"- Reversal of usual cervical lordotic spinal curve;
- C5-6 disc shows right postero-paracentral protrusion indenting the thesal sac and causing minimal attenuation of right spinal recess. THere is mild narrowing of bilateral neuric canal (R>L) due to bulging disc annulus."

What does these findings mean in simple terms? Are all these abnormalities irreversible? Do I need surgery?
